Have you tried Patti LaBelle’s line of frozen sweet potato pies? No, we’re not making that up. The R&B legend really does have a line of frozen sweet potato pies and the world is a better place for it.

One review of the “New Attitude” tune vendor’s collection of circular edibles is blowing up right now and with good reason. James Wright sat down to share his thoughts on Pattie’s pies and it is AMAZING. Not only does James give the pies a ringing endorsement, but he literally sings the praises of the Philly icon with a level of joy that falls somewhere between religious and sexual euphoria. It’s the sort of awesome charming thing that makes you ask “ARE ALL SWEET POTATO PIE REVIEWS LIKE THIS?” before discovering that James is operating on a whole other level.

In case you were wondering, Patti (or at least her social media team) has come across this glowing review. It’s now linked to on the singer’s Twitter and Facebook accounts. Here’s hoping we get his take on her sauce line before the end of 2015.
