The rapper helped give out 1,500 Thanksgiving turkeys for the second year in a row.

Not content to rest on his presumably-THC-laced laurels after launching his own marijuana brand, Snoop Dogg recently helped out a large number of needy Los Angeles families.

The second annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway was hosted by the mega-famous rapper/world’s most notorious sticky-icky advocate, and credit where credit’s due: the rapper was only a little bit late to his charity event. Well, nobody’s perfect, particularly those who exist in a perpetual weed haze.

Snoop was joined by Inglewood Mayor James Butts (I’m desperately trying to refrain from a hacky joke here) and other city officials, all of whom passed out over 1,500 birds to the gathered attendees.

“Inglewood, y’all know I love y’all. This is my second home. Inglewood has been good to me from day one and that’s why I love Inglewood. I just want to let y’all know that I’mma be doing this every year. Sorry I’m late but we are going to make up for it by giving away some big fat turkeys so you can get your eat on this Thanksgiving,” Snoop told the gathered fans and turkey lovers.
