Pop prodigy Sia and The Muppets‘ Swedish Chef are both mysterious, ample-haired enigmas, so it’s surprising it took so long for the two to get mashed together in the perpetually-whirling pop culture blender we call the internet.
Well, they finally got their long-overdue coalescence this week, thanks to YouTube comedian and impressionist Brock Baker (online handle: McGoiter, the man of a kajillion voices). He has painstakingly transcribed Sia’s emotional lyrics about her struggles with alcoholism into a chorus of nonstop borks, while prancing about his abode doing his best attempts at the Maddie Ziegler dance:
McGoiter YouTube videos: Come for the chef costume and pop culture mash-ups, stay for the inexplicably-framed Paul Blart poster. Stick it out to the end for a special, possibly non-legally-licensed appearance by Statler and Waldorf, who deliver one of their trademark burns. Give those guys their own show! Oh, right.
