Do it, Rockapella!

Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? And, more importantly, where in the world is Rockapella?

This theme-song-spinning/suspender-sporting house band are probably the most memorable part of the PBS geography-based game show (inspired by an equally popular computer game). To celebrate its 30th anniversary and the non-stop churn of 1990s nostalgia, Mashable got the gang back together for a sit-down interview (fun fact: They were inspired by Jane’s Addiction’s “Been Caught Stealing”) and a pitch-perfect performance of their signature tune.

The double dealing diva with a taste for thievery might still be on the lam, but at least we know where Rockapella ended up (on tour). In fact, they’ve already reunited once this year to help locate Mexican drug lord El Chapo. It’s slightly surreal to revisit the voices that have likely been haunting a dusty wing of your brain mansion for the last few decades and connect them with the image of the men on screen, especially since the baritone guy now rocks a faux hawk instead of a fedora.
