The song was introduced by Norm Kelly. Of course.

This year Polaris Music Prize and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra announced a partnership that would see the orchestra perform with a handful of the 2015 nominees (Alvvays, Jennifer Castle, and Viet Cong), and give the winner—Buffy Sainte-Marie—the chance to do a special concert with TSO accompaniment.

While Drake did not appear at the Gala, the TSO performed a stunning rendition of “Know Yourself” that you can watch below now.

Drake’s album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, was introduced by Norm Kelly, naturally, but hardly anyone was tweeting “dad” with the #Polaris2015 tag.
