Is this real life?

November’s a very exciting month for album releases. After all, it’s the month where Justin Bieber, One Direction and Pope Francis will all be dropping their latest records. What’s that? Yes, we said Pope Francis.

The Vatican’s closest thing to a rock star is releasing a full-length on November 27 titled Wake Up! Sadly, the album will not resemble something from Ghost B.C. (MISSED OPPORTUNITY), but Rolling Stone notes that Wake Up! “features the Pontiff delivering sacred hymns and excerpts of his most moving speeches in multiple languages paired with uplifting musical accompaniment ranging from pop-rock to Gregorian chant.” Snazzy!

Pope Francis addresses the listener in 11 different languages on the release and uses the album to relay messages about subjects ranging from peace to environmental concerns.

The proggy cut “Wake Up! Go! Go! Forward” premiered over at Rolling Stone. The mag likens it to Godspeed You! Black Emperor, donchaknow. We’ll let you be the judge:
