The phone number plastered on the singer's new album is very much in service.

Have you purchased the latest album from none-more-noir tunesmith Lana Del Rey? If you inspect the cover, you’ll notice a 1-800 number on display. Here it is below on the off-chance you haven’t gotten a chance to gawk at the Honeymoon album art.

Curious what happens when you call that number? Will it bring you to the Starline Tours courtesy desk? Will it summon a demon to come feast on your bones? Is the number simply not in service? Actually, those darling lil’ digits have actually served as your gateway to get in touch with Lana. (Or at least a very patient person hired by the label pretending to be the “High by the Beach” singer.)

It’s a bit more interactive than the 1-900 numbers of yore, but there’s no guarantee that Del Rey’s going to pick up. After all, she’s a busy recording artist that just dropped a new LP. The number has also offered fans an opportunity to hear songs from the album and listen to Lana read pieces of poetry.

Here’s an Instagram clip featuring an excited fan gabbin’ with Lana Del Rey. It looks like everyone’s having a great time. Happy dialling, everybody!
