Madame Tussauds has issued a statement on the inappropriate photographs.

It’s comforting to know that in this life, some things are certain: death, taxes, Sinead O’Connor controversies… Oh, and horned-up dudes behaving like idiots around anything remotely resembling a woman.

Literally resembling, in this case: Madame Tussauds has issued a statement and is planning to beef up security around their likeness of Nicki Minaj after a month of it being routinely groped by an avalanche of many extremely classy people.

Earlier this month, venerable artistic institution/house of terror Madame Tussauds unveiled their wax tribute to Minaj: A scarily lifelike representation of the rapper on all fours, in a scene from her “Anaconda” video. Perhaps not the most respectful, dignified wax figure of all time, as fellow rapper Azealia Banks pointed out:

Presented with a wax likeness of the rapper, many (male) visitors to the gallery were immediately consumed with the desire to simulate sex acts and generally degrade the poor defenceless wax figure, and post photographs to social media, because society in 2015 is a beautiful, healthy place. Alright, maybe I’m being harsh. I mean, that is one lifelike statue. Can the modern-day James Bonds below really be blamed for their actions? Yes, yes they can. Who does things like this???

Madame Tussauds, rightly concerned about the general skeev population thinking that their tantalizing effigy of Johnny Depp is undefended, issued the statement below on Twitter, calling out a specific visitor for an “inappropriate photograph.” They go on to say that more staff will be present in the area from now on, and that the Minaj set is being redesigned to limit “horny dude access.” OK, that’s not really in the statement, but read between the lines!

All that’s missing is a concerned “We’re not mad, just disappointed.” Get a hold of yourselves, dudes. No! Not like that! Stop! *On Madame Tussauds intercom* “Clean up on Aniston Avenue.”
