Straight outta news we hope is true.

In true movie studio exec fashion, Universal head Donna Langley dropped perhaps one of biggest hip-hop related bombshells in years as a by-the-way comment: N.W.A may finally be reuniting, and as a bonus, Eminem could be joining the line-up.

Langley was talking to The Hollywood Reporter about the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, explaining that when Warner Bros. balked at spending big money on the film she and Universal jumped at the chance to take over, giving it a $30 million budget.

It was during her comments about promoting the film, however, that she revealed plans were in the works to have N.W.A tour Europe with Eminem becoming an honourary member. Unsurprisingly, it’s far from set in stone as she herself admitted: “We don’t have anything settled yet with everyone’s schedules, but we think it can create a lot of buzz.”

Of course, the Benjamins are an excellent motivator, and with a tour that coincides with the highly anticipated film, all parties (including the lesser known DJ Yella and MC Ren) are likely to make some fat duckets. One thing though: What’s this ‘European tour’ bullshit? If I’m not watching N.W.A perform “Fuck tha Police” at Molson Amphitheater in a couple months, somebody at Universal is getting a scathing email. (I’m not messing with Dre though. That dude is huge.)
