Shaggy has a plan to stop ISIS

If you’re anything like us, you tend to frame all current events around the question “What would Shaggy do?” Thankfully, the “It Wasn’t Me” philosopher has finally weighed in on this whole ISIS thing.
In an interview with the Miami New Times, the pop-reggae singer spoke with the publication about his dislike for ISIS (bold stance, Shaggy) and his strategy for shutting them down.
“I get someone having a cause. I get somebody fighting for their cause. And I get that people struggle; I get that they suffer. But how does that justify killing your brother? Taking their heads off and filming it… That’s a different level of evil right there,” said Mr. Bombastic.
Next, Shaggy added some suggestions to help turn the tide with some good weed and… his own music.
“If you’re able to cut a man’s head off, you’re sick. But right, music evokes emotion. So if they’re listening to Shaggy music or reggae music, they’re not going to want to cut somebody’s head off,” said Shaggy, who is actually a Gulf War veteran. “There’re two thing you want to do when you listen to reggae: You get somebody pregnant, or you’re fucking high. High people don’t want to kill nothing; they want to love. They need to bag some Jamaican weed and distribute it amongst ISIS. I guarantee there won’t be any more wars out there.”
So if you see Shaggy engaging in international travel with a boombox and an enormous stockpile of pot, just know that he’s doing so to make the world a safer place. If you’re skeptical of Shaggy’s methods, you can always just get super baked with “In The Summertime” blasting and see how you feel.
