Helicopters: Not just for Catalina Wine Mixers anymore!

What’s the point of going to Bonnaroo if you’re not going to be the dink that takes a helicopter ride in to see Guster?

Uber is offering up a service that will take festivalgoers to Bonnaroo via chopper for $1,500. The Tennessean reports that the transportation giant has partnered with Helistar Aviation to make this airborne goofiness happen and is available to customers on Thursday and Friday.

Purchasing the service gives the customer: 1) An Uber car ride to the helipad. 2) A helicopter flight from the helipad to the festival. 3) An Uber car ride back to Nashville. Tickets to Bonnaroo are not included in the package.

Three customers are allowed per ride and fare-splitting is listed as an available option. No word yet on if you get to push anyone that screams “GET TO THE CHOPPA!” out of the helicopter on general principle.

This year’s edition of Bonnaroo has already begun and will wrap up on Sunday night. Billy Joel, Kendrick Lamar and Florence + The Machine are among the headliners on the bill.
