Paris Hilton might be a vintage radio enthusiast and a nice person

Paris Hilton: socialite, media personality, questionable singer/actress, DJ, and… vintage radio enthusiast?

This is definitely one to file under “WTF.” Posting in the Reddit amateur radio club, user superspurz8 appears to have uncovered a whole different side to the gazillionaire. According to a few posts he’s discovered, when she’s not out and about being famous, Hilton apparently loves to spend time restoring vintage radios. And being super nice to stranded travellers.

The likelihood of there being some truth to this seems pretty good considering the second post, which mentions her love of radios in passing while speaking on an unrelated topic – namely, Hilton being a sweetheart that hugs you when you’re upset and will make you a sandwich to cheer you up.

I personally hope it’s true – it’s always heartening to find out someone perceived as vacuous may actually be an interesting individual and a caring one to boot. Who knows, maybe on her deathbed she’ll reveal that she’s been a next level troll all along, read Dostoyevsky regularly, and created her persona as a social experiment. Even if that’s the case though, nothing will ever make up for “Stars are Blind.”
