Dock Street brewery in West Philadelphia has just the thing to wreck ya neck…or they will, in about six months. Head brewer Vince Desrosiers told Philadelphia Magazine that he’s currently aging a new pineapple and orange tart-flavoured golden ale inspired by his love of the Wu-Tang Clan. I know when I’m blaring “Gravel Pit” I’m always saying to myself, “you know what would go great with this? A nice golden saison with tart pineapple notes.”

The best part? The beer will be serenaded by a nonstop Wu Spotify soundtrack while it ages, and will be called Dock Street Beer Ain’t Nuthin’ to Funk With.

“It started as a joke,” Desrosiers said, “and then we wondered if the bass would cause enough vibration to move the yeast around and create some different flavours during fermentation.” Jury’s still out on that one, but come on! Ain’t Nothing to Funk With? Weak! What’s wrong with WuBrew, or B.R.E.A.M.? Protect Your Czech? (Note: only works if the beer is Czech).

Up next for Dock Street? According to Desrosiers, Dock Street’s next beer will be soothed by the dulcet tones of Run the Jewels. Hey Desrosiers, every brewer knows the hardest part in novelty beer brewing is the names, so in the spirit of beer brotherhood, here’s some freebies:

–  Banana Sipper
–  Rye, Wheat, Orange Peel
–  Chiller Weiss
– Twin Hype Bock
– A Christmas Fucking Mild Ale

You’re welcome. Free cases of beer can be sent to the AUX offices.
