Flavor Flav is still getting arrested for partying too hard

It’s a simple truth – as we get older, we tend to mellow out. This holds true for stars as well, with many renouncing their hard partying ways as they enter their golden years.

Fifty-six-year old Flavor Flav, however, will be having none of that. Arrested Thursday morning shortly after midnight in Las Vegas (where else?), the Public Enemy hype man was charged with a laundry list of misdemeanors including alleged DUI, possession of marijuana and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. According to police, Flav was clocked going 73 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone. Which sounds excessive, sure, but you’ve got to take in consideration how hard it is to see the speedometer through all that weed smoke – especially when you’re hammered.

The man formerly known as William Drayton also got popped for having a suspended license and registration. This is never good, but it becomes a bit more of a problem when you were arrested a year and a half ago and found to have sixteen suspensions on your license. That’s so ridiculous it’s a felony charge (aggravated unlicensed operation). Flav – we love you, we love your comically huge clock necklace and your “Yeah Boyee.” Personally, I fully support you partying into your sexagenarian years (once you stay away from violence and the hard stuff). But you really should get yourself a driver.
