Pharell, Moby, and Monica Lewinsky threw down to support the cyberbullying target.

The feelgood story of Sean O’Brien (a.k.a. Dancing Man) wrapped up over the weekend with a massive bash in Los Angeles.

The London man first became an online cause célèbre after a post on troll-hive 4chan poked fun at his appearance underneath the disco ball lights. As we reported back in March, this resulted in the opposite effect of social media support for O’Brien and a campaign to throw another party with the 47-year-old as the guest of honour. Organizers Cassandra Fairbanks and Hope Leigh rallied hundreds of party-goers along with appearances from Pharell, Moby, and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actress Tatyana Ali. Monica Lewinsky, who recently gave a TED Talk on “the price of shame”, also joined the dancefloor cause.

“This all started because somebody tried to be nasty and it turned good so quickly,” O’Brien said to ABC News. His epilogue continued with a chance to throw out the first pitch at a Dodgers game and an appearance on The Today Show alongside Meghan “All About That Bass” Trainor. They may have been sarcastic, but the Minutemen’s lyrics ring true: “Maybe partying will help.”
