To date, we’ve best known Toronto-Halifax musician Andy March for two things: First, he plays in the sludgy psych band CROSSS, who released Obsidian Spectre via Telephone Explosion in 2013 and are planning the release of its follow-up, LO, in May. Secondly, he runs the excellent cassette label Craft Singles, who’ve cut releases by AUX faves such as Un Blonde, Heaven For Real, and Monomyth, among others. Now, he’s working on another exciting project: He’s bringing lathe pressing into Sonic Boom, Toronto’s beloved Chinatown vinyl emporium.

So, what’s March doing at Sonic Boom? According to NOW, he’s offering small-run batches of picture discs, and they’ll be 33 rpm mono editions, offering 7 minutes of music per side. If March’s Facebook is any indication, the picture discs are beautiful—and if you’re so inclined, he’ll even press a single copy of your record.

Here’s an example of his work.

No word on pricing yet, but if you’re in Toronto, swing by Sonic Boom at 215 Spadina Ave.
