Just in time for a nice light beach read (jk ugh), ECW and Kobo have announced the joint print and digital publication of Jian Ghomesi—Secret Life for June.

The book will be written by Toronto Star investigative reporter Kevin Donovan, who initially helped Canadaland’s Jesse Brown with the case and has continued to cover it since, will focus on the details and background about Ghomeshi, the allegations against him, and his firing from the CBC.

Kobo vice president Pieter Swinkels describes the book as “a thought-provoking story that forces us to look again at social, cultural and gender roles.”

Ghomeshi is currently facing seven charges of sexual assault and one of overcoming resistance by choking, and will plead not guilty to all of them.
