CTZNSHP played our NXNE day party back in 2013, and we’ve been hooked ever since.
After much anticipation, they’re ready to announce the release of their second album, All Things to the Sea, which is due out on April 24th. To help ’em celebrate, we’re premiering the video for their new single, “New Dark,” which you can watch below.
Put together by Cave Boys, the video is an almost voyeuristic collage of found Super 8 footage, contrasting what looks like a wedding party with the glitches and scratches of a long-since outdated format. Paired with the Montreal band’s spacious-but-catchy, layered rock sound, it works.
