Taylor Swift and Trent Reznor are operate on different ends of the popular music spectrum. One is famous for songs of heartache, distress and overwhelming emotion; the other is Taylor Swift.

But combine their two sounds together and the results can still be stunning. Case in point, this mash-up of Swift’s smash “Shake It Off” with Nine Inch Nails classic “The Perfect Drug.”

Pretty great, right? Who knew Trent Reznor was the Black Swan to Taylor Swift’s quirky irreverence?
