Poseur or Punx?

In the days that followed Katy Perry’s life-affirming Super Bowl half-time performance, an unlikely star emerged, and it was a shark. Specifically, Left Shark (or, more accurately, stage right shark), an awkwardly dancing mascot who could barely perform his dance routine. Lost in the fray, however, was Right Shark, the costumed dancer who pulled off his moves with razor precision. Who was Righty, and how was he able to bust a move in a restrictive mascot’s suit?

Well, turns out Right Shark Scott Myrick is a long-time Perry backup dancer who, if we’re to believe his Instagram account, may have sharpened his moves in the pit. Myrick, being a pop singer’s backup dancer, has plenty of shots of his 16-pack and Beyoncé merch, but amidst them all, he also posted up a photo of him rocking a cut-off Circle Jerks shirt, looking very much like a member of Trash Talk.

All of which led us to revisit his Super Bowl performance, and upon closer examination, Right Shark might’ve been half windmilling, half picking up change. So, we ask: Is right shark a poseur, or tr00 punx?
