Here’s what Kurt Cobain would look like today. Maybe.

Today, the iconic Nirvana frontman would have turned 48. We’ve already seen one interpretation of how he might look today had he not taken his own life that fateful day in 1994, and we’d rather leave it at that. In the twenty years since his death we’ve had no shortage of questions: what if he didn’t kill himself? What if he didn’t kill himself? Would Nirvana still be together? Probably not. Would Kurt Cobain have gone full recluse? Maybe. The thing is, we’ll never know.

Rather than hypothesizing and proselytizing, we’re taking today to just remember Kurt as he was. Not just as a musician, but as a person. At least as much as we can. And since we didn’t actually know the guy, we’re doing it with pictures.
