Here are the 10 highest-earning women in music

Unsurprisingly, the charts are a pretty good indicator of the women topping this year’s highest earners list, and as with 2013, it all starts with Beyoncé, whose self-titled surprise is still one of the best selling albums of the year almost one year later. She one-upped herself in 2014, more than doubling the $53 million she made in 2013.

Next on the list is, unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift, who released the year’s first and only platinum selling album last week in 1989, her fifth album that’s quickly become the fastest selling album in more than a decade.
