Eminem raps that he'd beat up Lana Del Rey like NFL's Ray Rice

Eminem is in a promotion cycle which means it’s time for controversy, and today we learned which buttons he’d be pushing with the reveal of “Shady Cxvpher,” which, in English, translated to “Shady Cypher.”
But I may fight for gay rights, especially if the dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/ Play nice? Bitch I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/ ’Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.
Set to be included on the upcoming greatest hits compilation Shady XV, the cut sees Eminem reopening old wounds by digging into the Ray Rice scandal and turning it against Lana Del Rey. To clarify, the Ray Rice fiasco, while still technically ongoing, began in February 2014 and peaked in September, when video footage of Rice striking then-fiancée Janay Palmer. The Lana Del Rey reference, meanwhile, is at least three years late.
There’s shock value, which Eminem has always been great at, and then there’s this, which is honestly just lazy. There’s nothing clever about the reference, which basically just explains, in rhyme, what happened to Janay Rice, and yo, what did Lana Del Rey ever do to you?
