Windsor, Ontario is known for a lot of things. When you cross the border to Detroit, you’re actually driving north, which is neat. For 27 months, ending November 2011, there were no murders there, which is nice.

It also hums, which is odd.

The Windsor Hum seems like an urban legend: How could a city just inexplicably hum? Not belch or squeal or rattle the way all big cities do, but hum?

This Exists explores the city’s hum, which has been traced to Zug Island, the fakest sounding island to ever produce a mysterious, eerie hum.
