PREMIERE: Listen to Pet Sun's new album, 'Feel Like I'm Going Away'
by Tyler Munro
October 2, 2014
Pet Sun have spent the better part of the last year building towards something, and after a year of demos, gigs and an EP are ready to unleash their first official album. Feel Like I’m Going Away is a collection of six psychedelic, fuzz-laden tracks. Today, we’re excited to stream it below.
Born between Hamilton and Toronto, Pet Sun’s sound is the convergence of Steel town and the Big Smoke, cloaking their concoction of sharp riffs under stacks of distortion. By “Feeling Lazy” you’ll see why so early in their career they’ve already shared the stage with the likes of Bass Drum of Death and The Black Lips.
As for upcoming shows, they’ve got a few, starting with one at Hamilton’s Spice Factory this Saturday. Expect more to be announced soon. Feel Like I’m Going Away is out on October 7th.
