Kurt Cobain once played a show dressed as Barney the dinosaur

On Halloween in 1993, Nirvana played the James A. Rhodes Arena at the University of Akron, in Akron, OH. Kurt was dressed as Barney (who swigged from a bottle of Jack Daniels all night), Dave Grohl dressed as a mummy, Krist Novoselic dressed as a “white-faced reverse Ted Danson,” and Pat Smear dressed as Slash.
