Someone's putting Drake on wheelchair accessibility signs around Toronto

While Drake has no shortage of detractors, the Nothing Was the Same rapper is undeniably loved in Toronto: OVO Fest has become the city’s most anticipated summer ritual, right down to its pop-up shop. He’s a tireless supporter of the Toronto Raptors who’s openly asked Kevin Durant to join Kyle Lowry and co. (And let’s be honest: The Raps love him right back.) And his city-branding initiatives—like naming Hogtown the 6—have been slowly evolving the stuffy, Protestant rep of Toronto the Good.

Still, Drizzy’s haters love to point out that Aubrey Drake Graham didn’t start from the bottom—instead, he got his start on the Degrassi High reboot as Wheelchair Jimmy, a one-time basketball star who was crippled after a shooting. And to pay tribute his past, someone’s been placing Drake on wheelchair accessibility signs around the city, from stops on the TTC to signs outside the Eaton Centre.
