The oddest part of last week’s iPhone 6 announcement was Apple’s rumoured $100 million deal with U2, an agreement that immediately downloaded the Irish band’s new album Songs of Innocence onto millions of unsuspecting iPhones.

People were pissed. And confused. How did U2 “download” their new album onto people’s phones?! Was it the Illuminati? Was it Bono himself? WHO EVEN IS U2?

Okay, so laughing at the clueless is an easy target. But the silver-lining in all of this is Apple’s reaction. Not only did they have to write a support post on how to delete the album, but they’ve launched an opt-out website to make it easier for confused U2 haters.
