Few would argue against Kanye West’s supremely influential role in modern music. Least of all Kanye himself: a man whose creative genius is surpassed only by his willingness to talk about his creative genius. You might even put him on par with The Beatles—he certainly would. Well, now he’s making music with one.

As the New York Post’s Page Six reports, Kanye and Paul McCartney are secretly collaborating on what could eventually turn into a full-length album. At the very least, they’re working on a song tentatively called “Piss on My Grave,” which leads us to believe that Kanye’s really pulling the proverbial reins on this one (mere speculation, of course, but something about the thematic hurtle between “I’m Happy Just To Dance With You” and “Piss on My Grave” seems insurmountable in one lifetime).

Although Kanye’s reps have declined to comment, this collaboration might not be as far fetched as it seems. After all, McCartney freely admits to being a fan of Kanye’s music. Maybe it’s all a hoax, maybe the fabric of music space-time is collapsing—either way, Kanye is planning to release an album within the year, and if “feat. Paul McCartney” is involved, the interwebs will surely have a lot to say about it.
