It ain’t easy being a Cubs fan—they last won the World Series in 1910, and have been cursed ever since. Thanks to their century-plus drought, the Cubs have cultivated long-suffering, self-loathing fans—and it appears that Jack White’s one of ’em. When a distraught-looking shot of the Lazaretto singer surfaced from last night’s game, the jokes started flying: There were comparisons to Grumpy Cat. He was called the successor to Sad Keanu. He was lauded for his bitchy resting face. There was the suggestion that White was subtweeting you with his eyes. And then, the Photoshops and macros started pouring in. Here, 16 of our favourite.
