These kids performed the most adorably terrible Weezer cover ever

Remember playing your first school talent show? There was the thrill. The shame. The agony. And, of course, the Weezer cover. (“El Scorcho,” anyone?) Anyhow, as long as it’s been since middle school—and it’s been a sec, because we’re old, y’all—we’re glad to see that the more things change, the more things stay the same. These kids play through a few bars of what we assume is “The Sweater Song,” right before grade-A tragicomedy hits—and a few cool rocker teachers come to save the day. We’re not laughing at you, kids, but… it’s still a little hard not to laugh. Especially with a video this adorable. Thanks to Jezebel for the tip.
