PREMIERE: Watch the new Jokers of the Scene video, "Umbilical Chords"

Toronto-based duo Jokers of the Scene have been building towards End Scene for years, and earlier this month their long-anticipated first full length finally dropped. It was worth the wait—at once nostalgic and fresh sounding, Linus Booth and Chris Macintyre have put together an electronic opus that as groovy as it is atmospheric, running the gamut through the genre’s wide range of influences and textures.

Kicking the album off is “Umbilical Chords,” a textured album opener that sets the tone for End Scene early. Today, we’re stoked to premiere its video exclusively. Done by Sean Dack, the flickering, twitchy, glitch-filled clip is an eerie, found-footage style replete with flutterings of off-kilter scenery. Watch it above.
