Tonight at the Governor’s Ball, Grimes is set to debut a song she wrote for Rihanna, though the tune was ultimately rejected by the Bajan songstress. As much as we’d like to see a Rihanna-fied version of “Oblivion,” this kind of thing happens all the time in the pop world. This is good news for Aaron Zorgel, since Akon has already passed on his hit-in-waiting “Everybody Do The Zorgel.” For this week’s Friday Playlist, let’s visit 15 regrettable rejects that went on to become huge hits.
