Rapper who cut off own penis has had his penis reattached

Andre Johnson made news for all the wrong reasons last month when he cut off his junk and leapt from his apartment’s second story balcony. We couldn’t begin to guess what would cause the Wu-Tang affiliated MC to do something so bizarre.

Unsurprisingly, drugs played a role, but it wasn’t bath salts or crack cocaine or PCP. The rapper had smoked weed, although Mary Jane had less to do with the rapper’s breakdown than the increasingly tumultuous set of circumstances slowly crippling his family life.

Prevented by a restraining order from seeing his two daughters, Johnson told TMZ that he was high, lonely and reading about monks and vasectomies when he felt like his “world was collapsing.” With another kid on the way, he went one step too far.

Luckily, Andre says he got his Johnson back; contrary to earlier reports, plastic surgeons were able to reattach his penis, which he says has regained full-functionality. He might not be able to have any more kids, but with a third on the way… that might be a good thing.
