Kings of Leon have by all accounts been tearing it up on their ongoing Mechanical Bull tour, but could going to one of their shows actually end up a health risk?

The Washington State Health Department has flagged the band’s gig in last month Seattle after a woman infected with the measles virus attended. They’re urging any unvaccinnated attendees of the show at Key Arena on March 28th to seek medical attention. Kings of Leon, meanwhile, are continuing on the road as planned.

Canadians should be concerned. Maybe.

Two days after the show in Seattle, the band hit Vancouver; then Calgary, then Edmonton and lastly, tomorrow, a show at Saskatoon’s Credit Union Centre.

Measles are incredibly contagious, and in some cases can be fatal. Moreover, modern medicine believes that even those that are vaccinated can carry the disease. This isn’t just rock and roll anymore: It’s all out germ warfare. Forget your sex being on fire—this could light your skin up.

But no, seriously. If you’ve been to a Kings of Leon show in the last week, maybe pay a quick visit to the walk-in clinic. You know, just to be safe. [via Consequence of Sound]
