NXNE's latest announcement includes Macaulay Culkin's Pizza Underground, Swans, Perfect Pussy and more

North by Northeast’s first line-up announcement was big—names like St. Vincent, Mac Demarco and Danny Brown were just a few of the 2014 festival’s headliners. It was a high standard, but it looks like they’ve met it with their second wave of artist announcements.

The second wave of names is a remarkably diverse offering, including post-metal revolutionaries Swans, Toronto heroes Metz and über-hyped punks Perfect Pussy. From there, things spread even further: Ryan Hemsworth, Alvvaays, Goat, Sleigh Bells, A$AP Ferg and Spoon are all in on the fun.

On the quirky side of things are The Pizza Underground, the Macaulay Culkin-backed, pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band we still can’t believe exists.
