Correction: We initially noted that this show is happening in Mississauga. It’s actually happening in Brampton.

We’ll give him credit: River Cuomo’s quest for the perfect pop song has been relentless. He’s taken his songs on luxury cruises. He’s been a veteran of the amusement park and casino circuit. And now, he’s going to hit the ultimate jackpot—playing in Brampton, ON.

Now, don’t go mocking Canada’s 11th largest city. (Yeah, London and Victoria, the B-town is bigger than you.) Because there’s plenty of attractions: There’s the Wild Water Kingdom, where Drake once hosted a pool party. There’s Laser Quest. And you might not be able to see the Brampton Battalion play, but the Powerade Centre, their former home, still stands.

And speaking of the Powerade Centre: That’s where Weezer will be playing on February 9, and you can get your tickets free. But there’s a snag. First, you’ll have to head to Square One early that morning—and not only for your daily Orange Julius. They’ll be distributing tickets at the opening of the brand new Microsoft Store. Show up at 11 a.m. to grab one. This isn’t the first time that Weezer has partnered with the MS-Store; they’ve also hit up openings in towns like Natick, Mass.

For the Brampton show, though, Rivers and the boys take the stage at 2:00 p.m., according to Weezer’s website. We’re heading for a game of laser tag after the show, you in?
