When Jay Z found out that Björk was in attendance at his Uniondale, New York show last night, he found a fitting way to acknowledge her presence: He and his band played a few notes of “Pagan Poetry,” from the Icelandic singer’s 2001 album, Vespertine.

By the looks of it, it even took Björk by surprise, though she seemed delighted when she posted the link to Facebook.

Jay Z’s Björk tribute is one of the many ways the Roc magnate is keeping busy—he also announced that he’ll be performing with Beyonce at the Grammys, signed New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia to his Roc Nation Sports agency, and continues with his current tour, which will wind its way to Toronto and Montreal later this month.

If his mini-tribute to Björk has you hankering for more, here’s “Pagan Poetry” in its original state.
