By now, you should’ve heard the latest from Toronto’s crack-smoking mayor: Yesterday, the Toronto Star leaked a bizarre video of the beleaguered mayor incoherently rambling in Jamaican patois. Mostly, it involves Ford appearing intoxicated while ordering food at a Rexdale fast-food joint; beyond a few cryptic jabs at Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair, it’s mostly the mayor slurring while liberally using the word “bumbaclot.”

If you missed the incident, check out the video below.

Of course, the Twittersphere lit up when it discovered the video: Some, like fellow councillor Michael Thompson, called Ford’s interpretation of West Indian cussing racist, while others firmly denied it. Others called for his resignation. And when Ford was asked by journalists if he was intoxicated, he finally admitted that he’d been drinking.

“I was with some friends and what I do in my personal life and (with) my personal friends, that’s up to me. This really has nothing to do with, has nothing to do with you guys,” he told a scrum. “It’s my own time. It’s my own time.”

Of all the commentary that’s emerged from the Patois video, the most ludicrious has to be Mayor Rob Marley, a parody account documenting “Etobicoke’s original rude bwoy.” Pairing Bob Marley quotes with (mostly) crack puns, they’ve been churning out images since yesterday afternoon.

Here’s a small sampling.

Check out the rest at @mayorrobmarley.

And because the Internet is the Internet, here’s the inevitable Rob Ford dub-reggae remix for your listening pleasure. Thanks to NOW for the heads up:
