Remember when, in 2009, YouTube user Slayerbob synced his Christmas lights to “Raining Blood” and we all collectively lost our shit? Well, that dude has updated his Yuletide routine—and he just released a brand new, and perhaps more impressive, light show dedicated to late Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman.

Unlike his previous light show, which was only synced to one song, 2013’s video is even more complex: It moves through “Hell Awaits,” “Angel of Death,” “War Ensemble,” “Raining Blood” and “New Faith.” Check the vid above.

“THIS WAS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” reads the video’s YouTube description. “MONTHS PREPARING THIS,MY WIFE HATES ME,AND I HAVE A FEW MORE GREY HAIRS..HOPE IT WORKS.”

And it does. Featuring a guitar-playing Santa, a drumming elf, a hesher snowman, and concertgoers throwing the horns, each element of the video is synced: When the drums fade out of the song, the elf remains still. When Kerry King laces into a shredding solo, the snowman follows suit. It’s absolutely insane.

Let’s hope Slayerbob makes these lights a yearly ritual. His original video for “Raining Blood” has a whopping 2.6 million views—and for good reason. Watch it below.
