Move over, pizza punks. You too, Personal and His Pizzas. Because we’re ready to anoint Macaulay Culkin’s Velvet Underground tribute, the Pizza Underground, as the finest pie-related band around.

Yes, you read that correctly: Macaulay Culkin—who, thanks to Home Alone, is the de facto child actor of Christmas—has a pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute. We surmise that it’s his way of telling the world that his battles with drug addiction have ended, and his appetite has returned with a vengeance. And when Culkin’s hungry, he lusts for the same thing we do: Pizza, the food of the gods. (And the Ninja Turtles.)

Naturally, then, Culkin put together a EP dedicated to all things cheese-slathered, which he and the Pizza Underground recorded in November. The actor, whose performance in My Girl could make a cold-blooded killer bawl like a little baby, plays kazoo in the band. Listen to their EP below.

It was reported that Culkin had moved in with Babyshambles / Libertines mastermind Pete Doherty earlier this year, and apparently, his musical influence rubbed off. Here’s the pun-infused tracklisting from their EP.

1. Papa John Says
2. I’m Beginning to Eat the Slice
3. Pizza
4. I’m Waiting for Delivery Man
5. Cheese Days
6. Pizza Day
7. All the Pizza Parties
8. Pizza Gal

The band is also reportedly selling $20 t-shirts on their Facebook page, consisting a tee scrawled with a Sharpie pen. Meanwhile, the band has been updating their Tumblr with Pizza Underground artwork, photos, and, of course, the band’s rider (mushroom, no anchovies, natch). Here are our faves.
