DZ Deathrays announce new single "Northern Lights"

DZ Deathrays have teamed up with Dine Alone Records for the release of their much anticipated sophomore album, but before that hits early next year, the band’s happy to share “Northern Lights,” a surprisingly restrained and textured taste of what’s to come.

The single is set for an official release next Tuesday, December 10th, but we have the exclusive Canadian premiere of its psychedelic video above.

As for the as-of-yet-untitled follow up to 2012’s Deathrays, the Australian duo—consisting of singer Shane Parsons and drummer Simon Ridley—will head back to the studio through January to finish it up. If “Northern Lights” is any indication, it’s going to be worth the wait.
