King Diamond wants you to call him on Skype

Either because he was bored or because it was Halloween, Danish legend King Diamond posted his Skype information on Facebook and asked fans to call in and chat. Some did, and some big news came out of it.
King Diamond is one of metal’s most influential figureheads. With Mercyful Fate, he helped shape the black metal ethos, and his expansive, over-arching concept albums both solo and with Mercyful Fate defined some of the best of the 1980s. And either because he was bored or because of Halloween, the Danish legend posted his Skype information on Facebook and asked fans to call in and chat.
One Redditor says he got through and chatted with the King for about an hour, where he revealed a possible Mercyful Fate reunion for 2015. Crazier? They might record another album. King Diamond has apparently remained in contact with the rest of the band, though that’s a bit hard to gauge since its last line-up only featured one other original member, guitarist Hank Shermann.
Still, that’s insane. Metalheads who haven’t heard Don’t Break The Oath need to rethink their place in the world.
