Corporate logos gone metal

When it comes to metal logos, Christophe Szpajdel is that guy. He’s done logos for more than 7000 bands, regularly helping out the little guys with his distinct, ink-y style. Famously, he worked with Emperor in 1994, helping shape their logo for the monumental In the Nightside Eclipse, but today the inevitable has happened: he’s gone corporate.
Sort of.
In collaboration with FastCo, Szpajdel recently took a horde of corporate logos and metallized them, and the results are stunning. From the Opeth-inspired Microsoft and Google logos to the thrashy take Fast Company, his prowess is immediate, subtle and artful. Also: hilarious.
Here are a few of our favourites. Topping the list? It’s got to be Martha Stewart.
