Singer Matt Berninger says he watches more TV than he reads, and that’s become clearer than ever as The National continue their efforts to work with as many shows as possible. Last night, following contributions to Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire and Bob’s Burgers, the band guested on The Mindy Project for a goofy proposal scene that featured a brief performance of “This Is the Last Time.” Below you can check out a behind the scenes clip on their cameo.
