We can’t believe it took this long, but Value Village has finally capitalized on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop,” parodying the song just in time for its booming Halloween season.

On YouTube, user Ryan O’Hara posted a clip of the song recorded straight off his radio dial (that’s it up top). On Canada.com, Marc Weisblott reports that his requests for a higher quality copy of the song have gone unanswered.

Apparently produced by advertising agency Wexley School for Girls, which is based out of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ hometown of Seattle, it’s not known just how “authorized” this tribute is, but given parody laws, we’d imagine it’s probably fair use. Value Village, or Savers as its known in most of the United States, says it can’t share a higher quality clip of the song because of “broadcast regulations.”

Still, you get the gist. The real question here is… who wants to dress up as a zebra with a big green moustache, hot dog zombie or a pickle? Those are straight off of the wonderful @ShittyCostumes twitter account.
