Ja Rule might write a microwave cookbook

If Netflix’s Orange is the New Black is anything to be believed, surviving in prison—minimum security or otherwise—comes with learning a few tricks. Ja Rule isn’t likely to disclose all he learned behind bars, but on SiriusMX radio’s Food Talk the oft-arrested MC told host Geoffrey Zakarian he was planning on writing a cookbook inspired by his time in jail. The catch? Every dish has to be microwaveable.

A Page Six “spy” says that Ja Rule “explained that while behind bars he learned to cook anything and everything in a microwave,” adding that his favourite dishes include lasagna and cheesecake.
Microwaveable cheesecake? Sounds… edible?
The show is set to air next Wednesday and also features Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson and Guy Fieri.
