Someone’s paid nearly $250,000 for a piece of gum chewed by KISS singer Gene Simmons on British TV show Soccer AM. And sure, gross, but the money went to The Charity Street League, which uses soccer to help change the lives of disadvantaged young Brits, so at least it's gone to a good cause.

Another day, another “KISS selling something stupid” story, but this one’s at least going to a good cause.

Fansite KISSOpolis is reporting that someone’s paid nearly $250,000 for a piece of gum chewed by singer Gene Simmons on British TV show Soccer AM. And sure, gross, but the money went to The Charity Street League, which uses soccer to help change the lives of disadvantaged young brits.

If you’re super curious, here’s a video of him chewing said piece of gum.
