Even though Inspectah Deck says the song doesn’t deserve its title, the Wu seem to be fans of Drake’s “Wu Tang Forever,” which is more of a spiritual tribute than an actual, tangible homage to the iconic hip-hop collective. In fact they’re so totally okay with it that they’ve already long-finished a remix of the track.

In fact they’re so totally okay with it that they’ve already long-finished a remix of the track.

Admitting that he wrote his verse in 15-to-20 minutes, U-God told Vibe that Drake’s crew wanted them on a remix and that we’ll probably hear it soon. “Meth did his verse—we all did our verses,” he said.

“I’ve been bigging up Drake for a while,” he added. “Plus he [sampled] the song that me and Rae jumped off so it made me feel real good. I’ve been in the game a long time and I really don’t get that much love.”

As for the haters, U says the Wu’s fans are some of the “hardest fucking critics ever.”

“We want to get together with people and have fun, man. I’m tired of us being looked at like we’re unapproachable or antisocial,” he said. “My Wu-Tang fans need to chill and just let bygones be bygones.”
