Judging by the reviews online for this track, the blogosphere is pretty split on this new track from The Killers.

“Shot At The Night” is one of two new tracks off the upcoming greatest hits compilation titled Direct Hits, celebrating their 10 years together as a band. The song was produced by Anthony Gonzalez of M83 and you can just guess that from taking a listen. An electronic, ’80s-influenced flavour with duelling synths and massive drums, all set to that chugging moderate tempo. Some are calling it boring, I think it’s going to be a slow burner.

The other new track on Direct Hits is a Stuart Price produced track called “Just Another Girl.” Take a look at the whole tracklisting below while you listen to “Shot At The Night”.
